I am lucky to have known life as an adult without being a dancer/stripper!
In my younger years, I went to college like most other people my age. Studying and working a part time job during the weekdays and partying on the weekends, this was my life. In this time period I made the most true friends! Ones who I can count on to really know Me for Me. And I know if I ever need emotional support they are there, even if they live in another state now!
College was a plethora of books with the blare of loud electronic music in the background. I always had a soundtrack to my life, appropriate for the present moment. Running and school during the week and dancing at raves/parties on the weekends was my life and motivation. I allowed myself to dream freely during this period of my life. Only to realize I knew myself better at four years old then I did at 21 years old.
It is great to see the success of my friends that I know from this part of my past. We all had nothing, but our dreams and ambitions to begin with. Still till this day, I meet friends of these friends who are good hearted people who look at me as a person and not just merely an object.
I am still just that girl that loves to smile and laugh and dance.
And listen to Loud music! Check out this BIG track...
