Well the past two nights at work have lead to a harsh realization!
Sadly, when I tell customers my story that I have danced nationwide, just returned to Oregon from California, and just started at a new club, but have done this for years. Customers get intimidated and/or angry that I just may have a better life then them. Because of course Most men consider being a dancer/stripper an extremely easy, fun, lucrative job. And with those assumptions come the stigmas of being uneducated, simple minded, dirty, promiscuous, and needy.
Men want to feel needed and like they are helping someone who is not nearly as powerful as them.
Especially when they come to the strip club to get their egos stroked, because their Real life is not treating them well.
When its not a party and/or a special occasion, its a maladaptive coping mechanism!
So what does that say about the Many regular customers I have seen at the clubs for years now?!?
Can we say Void?!?....
Yet, my bread and butter. Time to dumb it down even more!
I need a new story! ASAP!
I need a new story! ASAP!
