Last Friday Night

Last Friday night, I had another first at a club. I never thought this would happen! It was shocking, appalling, and great all at the same time! A customer asked me for a cigarette and I told him I did not have mine with me. I was in a bikini. Shouting over the music he stumbled a little and asked again. I just simply said "No. Would you like a private dance?" He shook his head, meaning no, looked around the club more and asked for a cigarette once again. This I countered with, "No. Would you like a private dance?" This time he agreed. What an interesting interaction!

I still do not know what to think of it other then drunk people are very interesting. Perhaps, he was drunk enough that his attention span turned into 30 seconds. I have no clue how being blunt in that situation worked for me.

This customer had a beer in hand and beer drunk is the sloppiest drunk. Maybe that was his issue. I just cannot find any other answer to why being so extremely blunt worked out in my favor. Especially, when I had no expectation or intention of it working!?

It was an interesting experience.
I am still processing!

"There are three kinds of intelligence: one kind understands things for itself, the other appreciates what others can understand, the third understands neither for itself nor through others. This first kind is excellent, the second good, and the third kind useless."
