As I acclimate for the night of work, I drink vodka and club soda with lemons and limes. I wait to go on stage. My first set of the night always seems to have a large ripple effect on the tone of the rest of my night.
I asked a customer what he does to acclimate and his response was the following: "I usually sit somewhere to relax and drink and observe for awhile. On nights when I get dances, I take that time to observe and pick the dancer of my choice for the night."
We all acclimate in our own ways... Happy Monday!
